서울문화재단 금천예술공장 SFAC Art Space GEUMCHEON Residency

서울문화재단 금천예술공장은 ‘예술가들이 가장 작업하기 좋은 환경조성’을 목표로 운영되어온 시각예술전문공간이다. 금천예술공장의 운영프로그램은 크게 시각예술가 지원과 국제교류, 지역 연계의 큰 세 축으로 구성된다. 그 중, 금천예술공장에서 운영하는 레지던시는 매년 1회 정기 국제 공모를 통해 시각예술 분야 예술가들을 선발하여 국내작가의 경우 평균 1년, 해외작가의 경우 3개월간 개인 작업실과 공동작업장을 제공한다. 2009년부터 2019년까지 25개국 262명(팀)의 예술가들을 지원해왔으며, 2010년 국제공모를 시작으로 지속적으로 국제레지던시의 성격을 유지해오고 있다.

The Seoul Art Space Geumcheon is a visual arts specialized space with aims to ‘create the best environment for the artists’. The programs offered at Art Space Geumcheon consist of three major missions: visual artist support, international exchange, and regional linkage. Among these, the residency program provides private and joint workshops for an average of 1 year (domestic artists) and 3 months (overseas artists), who are selected within the visual arts field through regular international competitions held once a year. Acting as an international residency since 2010 international competition, 262 artists(teams) from 25 countries have participated between the years of 2009 to 2019.
